Introduction

So I'm not quite sure where to begin...

Hello! 

I'm not great at introductions, and for that I apologise...

I've wanted to start a blog for a while now, but I've never had the guts, nor the inspiration to actually do it. I don't know why today is different, why I've suddenly plucked up the courage to write this, but I'm just going to go with it anyway. 

I'm quite a shy person until you get to know me, and there's nothing that scares me more than public confrontations, which is partly the reason why it's taken me until now to do this. I know that writing a blog isn't exactly a "public confrontation" as such, but the thought of putting myself out there to the world terrifies me a little. 

As Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "Do one thing every day that scares you." and this is my way of doing that. 

I don't know exactly what I'll write, nor how frequently, but with exams coming up for me shortly I won't imagine I'll be doing extensive blogging until summer, watch this space!
